Knowledge Gap: 
The purpose of this activity is to educate healthcare providers with the most up-to-date information on Concussion Management.

Target Audience
The target audience includes all healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists and allied health professionals who would like to learn about Concussion Management and how it pertains to their respective profession.

  1. Define common signs and symptoms of a sports-related concussion.
  2. Explain the most common tests/screens for acute head injuries.

Biographical Info


Assistant Professor, College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics.  Dr. Israel attended the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He completed a sports medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute and completed a pediatric residency at UAMS.
