Jin-Young, Han MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at UAMS in the Infectious Diseases department and Arkansas Children's Hospital.

W. Matthew Linam, MD, MS is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at UAMS in the Infectious Diseases department and Arkansas Children's Hospital.
 
Nada Harik, MD,  is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at UAMS in the Infectious Diseases department
and Arkansas Children's Hospital.


Program Overview
The speakers will give an overview of HIV in the adolescent population.


Objectives
1) Review the epidemiolgy of HIV infection in adolescents and young adults.
2) Discuss the appropriate testing and treatment strategies for adolescents at risk for HIV infection.
3) Recognize the clinical presentation of HIV infection in adolescents.
