In this presentation, the speaker will discuss essential issues regarding managing AICD battery changes at end of life.

Objectives:  

1. To learn about issues related to AICD battery changes.
2. To learn about patient wishes at end of life.
3. To learn about health care providers' moral distress in honoring patient's wishes.

Speaker Bio:
Stephen Hathcock, MD, MAR, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
