Biographical Info

Dale Carter, MD
Dale M. Carter, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Carter graduated from State University College at Brockport, NY. She attened Albany Medical College where she focused on Molecular Biology and Pathology. She later obtained a M.A. in Counseling Psychology at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. In 1984 she obtained her M.D. from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York where she received the Frederick Hesser Award for Academic Excellence in Neurology. She completed her Neurology Residency at Albany Medical Center Hospital.

Dr. Carter is board certified and holds current memberships in the American Academy of Neuuology and American Medical Association. Before joining the Neurology team at UAMS, Dr. Carter lived in Portland, Oregon where she had a private practice specializing in headaches.
