Knowledge Gap: 
AR-IMPACT (Improving Multidisciplinary Pain Care and Treatment) is a weekly free interactive program to help Arkansas clinicians better manage their chronic pain patients and those who need their opioid dosage reduced. The interactive conferences begin with a brief didactic presentation about an aspect of the care of these patients followed by a case conference format where clinicians can present their difficult cases for discussion with their peers and with our panel of subspecialists that include a psychiatrist, pain management physician, psychologist, physical therapist, and clinical pharmacists.

Target Audience
The target audience includes all healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists and allied health professionals who would like to learn about Arkansas Prescriber Feedback Reports--Why are these being issued and how are they helpful to providers? and how it pertains to their respective profession.

Biographical Info

Corey Hayes, PharmD is is a clinical pharmacist and post-doctoral fellow in the NIDA T32 Translational Training in Addiction program in the Department of Psychiatry at UAMS. Within his fellowship, he has been researching opioid use and abuse at the population level, including state level analyses.
