Program Overview Ms. Glasgow, RNC-OB, presents basic terminology of fetal heart tracing and discuss examples to illustrate those terms. She will provide information on assessing fetal well-being in the antenatal period. She defines aspects considered normal in the fetal heart rate tracing and changes considered to be indicative of declining fetal acid-base status. She will discuss documentation of the fetal heart rate tracing and the nursing interventions associated with the interpretation of such.
