Mandy Palmer, RN, CPHQ, CPPS

Mandy Palmer, RN, CPHQ, CPPS is the Manager of Quality at Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care (AFMC), the state’s Quality Improvement Organization for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. She provides oversight for quality improvement initiatives across the state including Value Based Improvement and Outcomes, Care Transitions/Readmissions, Medication Safety, Nursing Home Quality Improvement, and Antibiotic Stewardship. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Certified Professional in Patient Safety and a Master Trainer for Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Team-STEPPS. Her healthcare career has included more than 20 years in nursing in a variety of settings, which include Intensive Care, Burn, Cardiac, Utilization Review, Discharge Planning, Hospice, and Quality Improvement.
