Biographical Info

Dr. Nevins is a Teacher Educator and professional learning specialist.  She specializes in supporting the educational needs of aspiring and established professionals working with deaf children who use hearing technologies to listen and talk.  Her long time focus on issues of spoken communication by deaf children launched her interest in promoting the development of a conversational toolkit for any provider that values the power of effective communication, especially in interprofessional settings.
