Objectives - Define terminology often used when describing epidemics and control methods.
- Describe typical steps involved in investigating an outbreak.
- Create an epidemic curve from a line list, infer from its shape likely transmission mechanics, and estimate an incubation period.
- Define and calculate an Attack Rate, and Attributable Fraction, and an Odds Ratio.

Biographical Info Dr. Haselow serves as the State Epidemiologist and Medical Director for Outbreak Response at the ADH. He is trained as a pediatrician and doctorally trained infectious disease epidemiologist.
