Objectives

  1. Define hurdles that patients face when overcoming stroke, including socioeconomic, psychological, as well as medical hurdles.
  2. Explain how those hurdles change as the illness evolves.
  3. Apply strategies and techniques that can help patients overcome these hurdles. 

Biographical Info

Dr. Michael Pafford is the Medical Director of Inpatient Specialist at Saline Memorial Hospital.  He completed medical school at UAMS in 2000.  He completed his residency in med/peds at UAMS.  In 2004 he was chief resident of med/peds.
