Knowledge Gap: 
The purpose of this activity is to educate clinicians on the harmful effects of e-cigarettes and evidence-based strategies for talking with patients. 
 

Target Audience
The target audience includes all healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists and allied health professionals who would like to learn about e-cigarettes and how it pertains to their respective profession.

Biographical Info
J. Gary Wheeler, MD is a Pediatric infectious disease specialist. He worked for Ark Children's Hosp. until 1991 and has been working for the Arkansas Dept. of Health since 2012. His current roles include medical directorship of infectious disease and tobacco control programs. Within infectious disease he has key roles in HAI, Ebola preparedness and immunization programs.
