Program Overview:
In this presentation, the speaker gives an overview of grief in children, as well as information on resources available to providers.

Objectives:  

  1. Understand important concepts in talking to children about death and dying.
  2. Identify common grief reactions in children.
  3. Gain awareness of when referral is appropriate and what resources are available.

Speaker Bio:
Megan Davis, MD is a Fellow in the UAMS Hospice and Palliative Medicine Program, with a background in pediatrics.
