Program Overview:
To educate health care professionals on the Management of Headaches in Patients with Post Traumatic Brain Injury.

Objectives:  

1. Review the prevalence and classifications of headaches post trauma.
2. Understand how to evaluate and diagnose post traumatic headaches.
3. Review the current management guidelines for post traumatic headaches.

 

Speaker Bio:
Kamara Savage, MD is Native of Birmingham, AL and a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2012. Dr. Savage currently a 3rd year Resident Physician in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at the University of Alabama at Birmingham

Rani Lindberg, MD is an Assistant Professor and Associate Residency Program Director in the UAMS Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and in Brain Injury Medicine. Chief of Staff at Baptist Health Rehabilitation Institute & Medical Director for the Brain Injury Team.
