To educate nurses about Thermoregulation in the Neonate..

Objectives:  

  1. Describe the basic principles of thermoregulation. 
  2. List the signs and symptoms of hyperthermia and cold stress.
  3. Describe preventative measures to reduce thermal stress.

Speaker Bio:
Misty Williams, BS, ADN, RN-NIC has been a neonatal intensive care nurse at Arkansas Children’s Hospital for almost eleven years. She is also the current chair of the NICU’s Clinical Practice Council.
