Jamie Reed, PharmD discusses Diabetes, Chronic Kidney Disease, and the pertinent medications.

Objectives:
At the completion of this CE activity, participants will be able to:

• Identify the pharmacist's role in managing patients with diabetes.
• List at least 4 of the major complications of diabetes.
• Describe the importance of patient information, education and counseling to affect optimal diabetes monitoring and management.

 

Speaker Bio:
Jamie Reed, Pharm.D. is a graduate of University of Arkansas College of Pharmacy. She is originally from Greenville, MS and completed her Bachelors of Science in Biology at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Her professional interests include ambulatory care and psychiatry.
