Program Overview:
In this presentation, the speaker will provide information on care of sickle cell patients during pregnancy.   

Objectives:

  1. Provide audience with an understanding of sickle cell disease.
  2. Identify common  health concerns faced by sickle cell patients during pregnancy.
  3. Provide audience with information regarding treatment of sickle cell pain during pregnancy.

 

Speaker Bio:
Temekis Hampton, DNP, APRN has worked at UAMS for 12 years. She is an APRN in the UAMS Adult Sickle Cell Clinical Program.
