The presenter will discuss the pathophysiology of Sickle Cell Anemia, the prevalence of the disease in Arkansas, best case practices for treatment, and the Adult Sickle Cell Clinical program at UAMS.
Speaker Bio: Dr. Devan has been a UAMS faculty member since 2012 as both a Palliative Care physician and the director of the Adult Sickle Cell Clinical program.
