Biographical Info

Natalie Tibbs is a RN and a Nationally Certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner for Adult, Adolescent and Pediatric victims of sexual violence.  She is also the Asst. Director of the Children’s Advocacy Center in Rogers AR. 

Program Overview
The purpose of this program is to increase the knowledge base of medical professionals regarding the facilitation of sexual assault examination when a SANE is not present. 

Objectives

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
1. Create a working knowledge of the rape kit facilitation.
2. Increase professional response by cultivating a comfort level for working with rape victims.
3. Decrease secondary victimization of patient at the hands of the medical professional.
