Two federally designated telehealth resource centers - one state and federal policy expert, and one renowned for developing exceptional training and educational resources – have joined forces in a series of comprehensive telehealth policy training modules. The project brings together the Center for Connected Health Policy (CCHP), which is the federally designated National Telehealth Policy Resource Center (NTRC-P), and the South Central Telehealth Resource Center (SCTRC), which provides technical and information support to telehealth providers and organizations in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

Purpose

The purpose of this module series is to discuss federal and state policy as it pertains to telehealth, and provide solutions to these issues. This, the first of three modules, is entitled Telehealth Policy LEGAL.

Objectives

1. Identify policy implications at the federal level.
2. Identify policy implications at the state level.

The modules can be taken for FREE if continuing education credit is not wanted. However, CE credit is available for $15 per module.
