This highly interactive online module will provide a brief overview of telehealth. The true meaning of the words telehealth and telemedicine will be explored and potential applications will be demonstrated. Learners will be introduced to some of the technology used in the health care setting.

This "Telehealth Technology" module introduces you to several different types of systems used in healthcare settings today. The activity is separated into 3 sections. In the first section you will explore clinical units. The second section explores educational units and the final section provides you with an overview of units used in an administrative setting. 

Within each section you will get ideas on connectivity requirements and related costs necessary to use this type of technology in a clinical and non-clinical environment.
